Job Title: High School Art

Position Overview: A High School Teacher at Lee Academy is responsible for instructing students in various subjects within academic areas such as math, science, English, social studies, or more specialized subjects such as art, music, physical education or foreign language. High School Teachers are focused on the academic, spiritual, social/emotional, and physical development of their students. A High School Teacher’s role is pivotal in the development of students as they support them in the achievement of their educational goals and in becoming well-rounded individuals. Strong knowledge of subject matter and high school curriculum standards.Must be proficient working with technology, specifically Smartboards, virtual platforms, and the FACTS SIS system that Lee Academy uses.

 

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field is required.

• Teaching experience is preferred but not required.

• South Carolina Teaching certification is preferred but not required.

• Clear all required Lee Academy background checks.

Job Title: 2nd Grade Teacher

Position Overview: An Elementary Teacher at Lee Academy plays a crucial role in the education and development of young children in kindergarten through fifth grade.  The job description of an elementary teacher includes a wide range of responsibilities aimed at fostering the full development of each child’s intellectual, spiritual, social/emotional, and physical growth.  Elementary Teachers must be patient, adaptable, and skilled in fostering a love of learning in their students while providing a well managed, supportive, and engaging classroom environment. Must be proficient working with technology, specifically Smartboards and the FACTS SIS system that Lee Academy uses.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is required.
